Celebrating Thanksgiving in the English Classroom: Free Resources for All Levels

“Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada where families and friends gather to give thanks for the good things that have happened during the year. It is an opportunity for students to discover an English-speaking cultural tradition and reflect on values such as gratitude, solidarity and teamwork. Introducing this topic in class can spark curiosity and open meaningful conversations among students.

To leran more about this celebration, we have prepared a series of free resources tailored to each stage:

For Infants and ToddlersA “Thanksgiving” themed sudoku, designed to work on logical-mathematical and spatial-visual skills, as well as observation by the youngest students.

For PrimaryA fun “Storytelling Dice” that helps develop creativity and storytelling skills in a playful way. Students will be able to create their own Thanksgiving stories.
